Our 13 grape varieties

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape designation recognises 13 grape varieties, which represent as many ‘colours’ at the disposal of the wine maker, so as to offer those who will taste the wine the subtlest and most extensive aromatic palette.

The Marcel Georges vineyard is one of the very rare Châteauneuf‐du-Pape estates that make use of all eight red and six white grape varieties in every bottle. You haven’t misread this part: eight red grape varieties and six white grape varieties, for thirteen cultivars in total!
